Aspiration : this is a most prominent word i used to hear during appraisals. Till now i had some quotient with this word, but after reading an article recently about Vijay's "Aspiration", i was shell-shocked and refrained my-self from using the word aspiration in the future. This is a part of that article:
"Vijay, who is all set to complete half-century films in Kollywood, is keen to act in a movie to be directed by Mani Rathinam. Speaking at a function recently, he openly expressed his desire to be a part of Mani Rathinam's movie. "
The first thing came to my mind is:
Mani sir alreay had two heart-attacks, ippidi sudden a statement vitta...avaru health enna aagurathu ????

Well I think mani is over-rated and vijay is not that bad. the only porblem with this guy is he didnt develope himself...or improve his acting skills like surya.
Mani should not (and he could not) do any movie with Vijay.He is not a director's actor.Also he will demand kothu song and punch dialogues in his movie.Mani will lose all his hard earned name which is there last 30 years will vanish if he does a movie with Vijay.He kills creative directors and never ever does anything different.

Well... Two parts to it... First, a good director is someone who can get the best out of every actor. That way Mani should be able to get the best out of Vijay if he wants to.
Second, Vijay is trying to get into mass methodology like thalaivar (he hardly has any qualifications and that's a different story) and I'd say he is the most successful mass hero after thalaivar. So that way a combination of Mani and Vijay might not counter-benefit each other unless Mani is ready to come up with a hero-centric movie like Thalapadhi or Nayagan...
