Successfully completed the shooting of my second short film on Saturday(18-oct-2008). I played a mini-role in the short film. The short film is named as "Cause n Effect". Shooting is always fun, when we shot our first film, there were no one around and there were 5 crew members in total. This time we had shooting on a Tea-shop which gathered attention of around 50 people with no time. My position was so critical as i was standing inside the Tea shop and have to face the crowd.
Then i realized how hard it's to act, you have to be really shameless to ignore all those disturbances created and should not be irritated by the re-takes because of some external disturbances. You will get to see all type of characters from the crowd and it's hard to avoid them . I heard some loud comments outside and there's no chance of re-recording, so everytime when someone comment, we have to re-shoot....and believe me IT SUCKS !!!!!!!!!
All i can interpret is that everyone is trying to be in that "10 mins fame" and limelight is something everyone wish to attain at some stage of their lives. Even though i don't consider myself as an actor or a charming persona....despite that i can see people staring at me with some glee in their eyes and all i can read from the eyes is that everyone wants to be a STAR :)
PS: i enjoyed that stardom a bit on that day...hope i achieved my "10 mins fame" :D

Hmm... Interesting. But the same happens when others shoot and we watch right? :D
And just a suggestion... Y don't u try mute recording followed by in-home dubbing just the way professionals do?
i asked subbuni, from his inputs it's costlier than live recording...athaan he dropped that plan.

enakkum sariya therila da..he said there wouldn't be sync of voice if we are not having a proper set-up for recording.
Also, definitely it cant be done in a room as there will be lots of disbursions and distortions will occur.
kadaisiya, this film is done as a part of his curriculum and that instructor is very strict about few things.
Still, i'll ask him and let u know the feasibility
