Skool\College Komedies - Part 5: Dappan n Suppan

Again, the same Dappan @ Don. He became so famous such that, whenever someone calls others as DON, it was considered as serious offence. I knew once a guy hit other guy badly because he addressed him as DON. So, DON was considered the worst bad word in the history of our college.

One day, Dappan's father came to college. Dappan used to say that his grandfather is 12 foot tall. When his father came, someone asked the same to him.

Friend: uncle, is your father 12 foot high ?
Dappan's Father: no no. he's only 11 foot tall.

The guy who asked was in trauma for two days. So friends started calling his dad as Suppan. After couple of months, dappans gradma passed away. This Particular friend of Dappan went there and he commented like this:

Friend: Suppan a pethathukke avanga aatha sethu poirukanum, suppan vera dappan na pethuttan, ithukapuramum intha kilavi saagalaina ulagam thaangathuda !!!!!

(Translation: that old lady should have died for giving birth to suppan, now suppan brought dappan to this world, still then if this old lady lives, no one can save this world !!!!)

Skool\College Komedies - Part 4: Dappan @ Don

In every college, there will be one character who speaks only lies. These guys will speak these lies with so serious expressions. The best thing to do with those guys is that, listen to them carefully when they are speaking and if possible provoke them a bit....after that fun un-limited !!!!

There was one such character in my college, believe me i forgot his real name. Everybody used to call him DON or DAPPAN. So this guy hailed from Chennai and he's very fond of telling lies and keeps his face so serious. so a real maakan will definitely believe whatever he says.

From day 1, he used to tell everyone that he's kick-boxer. Along with that he tells a story also, once upon a time, when he was in school, he went for a kick-boxing competition. The opponent was so strong and well built, well this guy is also well built, i mean he looks like a big pig. The fight started and opponent hit him bad for first three rounds...Blood bleeding(believe me he tells all this with subtle expression ) and he finally fell down.

Everybody thought that DON lost, but then, like in cinema, his master ran towards him and started shouting "Come on, you can do ittttttttttttt !!!!" well, this words echoed in his ear and next moment he got up in slow motion and gave a reverse kick on that guys face...then what, that guy was knocked out and DON won !!!!!

He told this story several times and one fine day, he was in his hostel room and one of his friend asked him the same story. Once the narration got over, he asked DON to give a demo. DON got up, moved the bed, table and chairs aside, then he froze suddenly looking at the ceiling.....then he said

DON: Maapla, inga venamda, Ceiling la bulb irukku, naan paatuku atha adichu udaichutena ?????

(Translation: not here, what if i hit the bulb hanging from the ceiling????)

Well, the ceiling was nearly 15 foot high and the guy who asked fainted there. After that we stopped asking him to show any demo, who knows, if we take him to open air, he may say, "Maapla, what if i hit the sun\moon ????"

Three Trailers

I saw Three trailers last week, Naan Kadavul, Padikaathavan and Villu.

1) Naan Kadavul: 

A really scary trailer and a very promising one for something new. From trailer we can adjudge that, Arya is a saint alias hit man. He destroys and then the chief priest announce him as god. A damn good team in place, bala with Ilaiyaraja and vaali. The songs are soulful. Lets wait n watch the movie...

2) Padikathavan:

Cant expect anything else from this masala team...the trailer is OK type. Tamanna was hot and i believe she'll fulfill what she's paid for. (somewhat got bored with nayan's physique and i dont think so that anything is left in her to show). Dhanush as usual, looks like someone in the line of "Thiruvilayaadal aarambam"...hope its not Rambam !!!!

3) Villu:

ahem, lets talk something else....

Lets wait n see the tamil audience reaction, coz the success of the movies may not be in the same sequence i mentioned above............

Skool\College Komedies - Part 3 : Tamil Teacher !!!!

I joined TVS Lakshmi Madurai in my 9th Std. That was one place where only brainy peoples will stay and the culture is totally different. somewhat i cleared the entrance and also as they were expanding the school i got a seat there.

At early stage, it was very tough for me to make friends. Before joining the school, i was introduced to Suresh by Shafi, after i joined school, he become my friend and soon turned out to be my best friend.  Suresh took Tamil as second language and i took French as second language.

One day, Suresh was in ground along with prasanna. It was their volley ball practice session. One guy approached both and started talking.

Guy1: juniors eh ??? Second language ?

Suresh: Tamil

Guy 1: who's teaching tamil for you ?

Suresh: some old lady...

Prasanna: !@#!#@!!@#%%%***!@#$!#!@ (he used all possible abusive words against that mam)

Guy 1: (he was dead silent and finally) hmmmm, she's my mom !!!!

The next moment both suresh and prasanna escaped that place in stop-block pace. Well, the story has not end yet......

Next day, during Tamil class, both were literally shivering. That mam entered...she came straight to these guys.

Mam: who's Suresh in this ?

Suresh: it's me miss.

Mam: hmmmm, so u r the one who called me old lady ??????

Suresh:(completely collapsed) yes mam...sorry mam....(he was also bit happy coz, he just called her old lady but prasanna was the one who abused her a lot...so suresh was expecting something big for him)

Mam: hmmm, lets see how u pass Tamil exam this year...

And she left. Suresh was in shock and Prasanna was happy. Well, Suresh never cleared Tamil exam after that and prasanna never faced any issue in Tamil !!!!!

Till date, Suresh dont comment a girl based on her age !!!!!

Ashwath marriage @ Mangalore

So one of my close friend in office got married this week(29th-dec-2008). It's a love marriage and this guy is such a nice person. Any technical issues he'll go way beyond his time and extend help. If at all i face him in the competition of promotion and stuffs , i'll just give my place for him...not only for his brilliance but also for his good nature !!!!!

I met his fiancee in a party. Though i donno anything about her , they appeared made for each other. Their love story started in college, he proposed she disposed(as usual)  then again after some time, she understood him and finally family came to know and they said..."son, good choice, go ahead !!!!!". In that way, they got engaged last year, and married on 29th Dec 2008.

It was an awesome marriage, i should say it was so cute to look at this pair. They are just perfect pair. during the whole marriage ceremony, whatever the priest says these guys followed with uncontrollable laugh in their face...believe me, it was such a beautiful ceremony. Anyone who see the marriage will be happy and relive the best moments of their life. The above photo is just a sample one.

Rava Kesari !!!!

Happy new year to all....

We prepared Rava Kesari today and it came out so well. Nagu tasted first and said that its good, had he said the other way he knew what will happen to him. Then i brought it to office and started searching peoples to taste the product. Deeja, soundarya,sweda and manasa voluntereed for tasting the product. They said its too good. Now got full confidence and in one swing i started distributing to whomever comes that way....atleast 25 peoples...sunil,Kochu, sanyam, paaru, nisha...etc. Everybody were delighted with the sweet and were giving good comments.

Finally, i called Payal. I gave it to her and as epitome she said "superb, better than my mom's kesari" ........wow !!!! Thats something good i heard at the start of this year !!!!!!!!

It was a very ordinary year again !!!! hope something good happens next year...!!!!!
