Opis Komedies - Part 35: Dark knight !!!!

Pantry Area. Me, Shanm, Sunil and Karc were having Tea. The conversation went like this.

Me: Today, i'll go Forum n buy "The Dark Knight" original DVD...long waiting for that !!!!

Karc: (confident of pulling my legs) u saw the movie already right, then why do u want to buy it ? (ha ha ha ha ha)

Me: actually, see, there are some good movies we want to own it in DVD, say for you, you would love to buy original DVDs of Kuruvi, Aathi, Thiruvanamalai...its like that only. 

Now me n sunil were laughing at Karc and he as usual giving his sheepish grin to hide his defeat...in the whole process Shanm was thinking seriously and finally...

Shanm: so u r going to buy "Karuppu Iravu"

Me: what, that sounds like some porn movie !!!!

Shanm: no no, i just translated Dark Knight to tamil....

Me: ada paavi...thats not "night"...it's "Knight" !!!!

now except shanm everybody were laughing !!!!!!!!

Skool\College Komedies - Part 2: What happens ???

This happened in my school. During chemistry lab, we'll always be analysing salt. Still wondering why we analysed that !!!!

Our chemistry mam was a fair n fat lady. Nithya is her name. She's very strict and any issues she uses her hand to solve it. so one fine day, it was not our lab but i was standing near to the lab to get my note signed before practicals.

As i was checking final phases of my record book..there was an internal viva-voice going on. The group consists of all notorious guys. Satish and couple more guys, i forgot their names. this is wat happened:

Mam: so, what will happen when u heat copper sulphate ?

guy1: (after a min silence) donno miss...

guy2: (again a min silence) donno miss...

Satish: (a min of deep thought)hmmm...it becomes HOT.

the next second, i saw 3 record note flying out of the hall...!!!!!!

Skool\College Komedies - Part 1: Workaholic !!!!

It happened in the final year of college. We had CTS campus interview and surprisingly i got selected for interview. Before interview, they gave me a pink form to fill. It consists of lots of unheard words(at that time) like skill set, area of interest, aim, what will u do 5 years from now...etc.,

I was completely puzzled with those type of questions, even my mom didnt ask such questions. So i took help from a guy, saravana Kailash, he's a fruit and that means he knows all necessary things regarding education n stuffs. He was giving high fundoo english words to fill that form. finally, i read my form and i didnt understand 60% of it...actually the rest 40% words are like a, the, this, me...etc...

The interview panel consists of two people, one 40+ guy and other some 22+  gal,  from the moment i got in, i was so impressed with her. i shook hands with her and was answering all questions looking at her only(actually it was the guy who was asking all questions). Finally, she also donno how to react and she took my pink form and started reading....after 2 mins, she started smiling...and trying very hard to conceal her smile...

After few minutes, she asked...

She: So Srini, as per ur form,  u r hard working and good at team work ?

Me: (with biggest possible smile) yes...

She: also, u r WORK ALCOHOLIC ???

Me: (with much more smile and pride) yes, i'm WORK ALCOHOLIC  !!!!

After that both were laughing for few minutes and needless to say i was not selected !!!!

I came out. Then only i came to know that, it was not "Work Alcoholic" but "Workaholic".....!!!!!

Ghajini - review

I watched it last week, but didn't get time to express my thoughts !!!!!

Well, it's a well made remake of tamil version without altering the essence. The climax was trimmed well and it's a neatly made movie in recent times. Few good points:

1) Aamir...well, its all the way Aamir. It's his grandiose show...be it a businessman role or STML patient, he fills the screen and he cornered Asin in performance !!!!!

2) Asin, definitely her career best and all she got to do is speak in hindi...again an excellent performance !!!!

3) ARR at his song. Nobody can stop him, the re-recording for hitting scene was far better than tamil version. Also songs and re-recording all the way was astounding !!!!!!!

4) Photography...ravi K chandran scores full marks just for one n only song..."Guzarishhhhh". It touches ur heart !!!!!

5) Details. As Aamir being a perfectionist took lots of care in continuity and details. In the hindi version, he used to hang the Polaroid Cam in his right shoulders...as he's lefty.(in Tamil it will be hanging on his left shoulder !!!!).

So it's complete paisa vasoool movie. a full package meals...!!!! WATCH IT !!!!

Opis Komedies - Part 34: Ghajini...RAM...ROM !!!

Shanm and Sunil were discussing about GHAJINI.

Shanm: he'll forget everything in 15 mins....
Sunil: oh...so he got only RAM !!!!!
Shanm: but he remembers basic things like brushing, bathing and driving...
Sunil: oh...he got ROM also......but NO HARD DISC !!!!

First time ever shanm shut his mouth for someone Else's outrageous comments...normally, shanm gives these comments and we get irritated !!!!!!!! on that day, it happened the other way around........good one Sunil !!!!!

Room Komedies - Part 2: Singhania to Ramasamy ????

Dec 25th, me, shanm and sundar were going for some purchase. Previous night i watched Ghajini. The conversation went this way:

Shanm: how was the movie ?
Me: good, second half better than Tamil...Aamir did a good job.
Shanm: how was the romance ?
Me: the same
Shanm: who was the policemen ?
Me: same...riyaas.
Shanm: what abt villain
Me: (losing patience) SAME....
Shanm: what's aamirs name in the movie ?
Me: Sanjay Singhania...
Shanm: singhania na ????
Me: (lost control) hmmmmm....Ramasaamy oda hindi translation thaaaan Singhania !!!!!
Shanm: oh...then sundarrajan's hindi name ?
Me: (pongada........) BANDAR RAJAN !!!!!

Both were laughing !!!!!
